Warnings

Note

Warning: User role access levels can only be assigned to new users based on your account level.

For example, a Merchant cannot give “Referrer Referrer Full Access” Access to another user, but a Referrer can grant this level of access to a Merchant.

Note

Warning: The “parent” (admin) user of any child (standard) user can access and view the Child child user’s associated entity (Merchant) because it’s its hierarchy is the source of the Child child user’s access to the portal.

As a result, the Parent User parent user will have full view of the Child User’s child user’s Merchant account, but the child user is unable to view the parent user’s view.

Note

Warning: Deactivating Referrer-level Parent parent users that are associated with the entity’s API key or are the primary parent user login will remove access from all associated Child Userschild users to their respective entity (Merchant).

Note

Warning: Your browser cache may not allow you to see your changes reflected immediately when updating an existing user’s roles. If this happens, try clearing your browser cache or reload reloading the page in a private /or incognito browser window.
