The Invoices menu page will show you all currently Paid, Pending, and Drafted invoices: the monetary values for each of those are reflected in the results that populate towards the top of the page. As explained above, Payment Pages and Invoices page contains a table of invoices that have been sent to your boarded merchants. You can view information about the invoices and their status, perform batch actions on listed invoices, and access more details about specific invoices.

You may notice 5 different icons located to the right of the invoices underneath the “Batch” action text. The status of the invoice will discern which options you can perform using those icons. The icon roles are as follows:

On the Invoice Details page, you can edit the title, message, items, price, and customer details on the invoice.

You can also Send, Duplicate, Mark as Paid, or Delete the invoice directly on this page using the buttons located directly below the invoice details (above the Activity section).

Options to print the invoice are also available, and if you’d like to get the URL link of the page to send to a customer, click on the  button, or click on the  button to be taken to the page directly. Take note that certain invoices may not all have the same options depending on what they’re marked as.

To add a new invoice, make sure you’re back on the main Invoices page and click on the +Add Invoice button located towards the top right to be directed to the invoice creation page.

Under the “Invoice” section of the form, you can add the invoice number under the NUMBER field, a TITLE so you can Navigate to the Invoices page by clicking Invoices under Forms in the left hand navigation panel.

Invoices Information Banner

The Invoices information banner is located at the top of the Invoices page, and displays current information about invoices sent to your merchants, including Paid, Pending, and Drafts dollar amounts for the last 30 days.

Invoices Table

The Invoices table is located below the information banner, and contains a list of all invoices that you can search and perform batch actions on, or access more information about a specific invoice. The Invoices table contains the following information in the default setting:

Description

Invoice

The invoice identification number.

Amount

The dollar amount of the invoice.

Due Date

The date that the invoice payment is due.

User

The merchant user that created the invoice.

Title

The title of the invoice, which can be used to illustrate for what or who the invoice is intended

In the “Items” section of the form, enter the name of the item included in the invoice. Note, this item doesn’t necessarily need to be a tangible product: the item “name” could be a service that you are charging your customer(s).

Enter in the quantity in the field to the left of the PRICE field along with the price, discounts, and taxes, if any apply.

To add a billing address to the invoice, activate the Billing address dropdown above the save button and then Save the invoice once completed.

Invoice Settings

Along with the feature to create invoices, located in the + symbol under Invoices are the Invoice Settings where you can update the logo that appears on the invoice, details about the business location, or add your API key to generate the invoice on your webpage. You can make certain fields for your customers to fill out on the invoice required or leave them open. Utilizing the invoice settings isn’t mandatory, but it allows you to personalize your invoices to your business.

Customer

The name of the customer that received the invoice.

Status

The status of the invoice: paid, pending, or drafted.

More Options

Click the three purple dots to open the More Options lightbox, which includes the following options:

  • Resend - resend the invoice to the recipient.

  • Mark as Paid - mark the invoice as paid.

  • Duplicate Invoice - create a copy of the invoice.

  • Delete Invoice - delete the invoice from the Invoices table. Note that this action cannot be undone, and must be recreated if the invoice is needed again after deletion.

Invoices Table Actions

You can perform batch actions or open the More Options lightbox to perform actions on individual invoices.

To perform batch actions on multiple invoices, follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Select the invoices from the table by clicking the box on the right hand side of the invoice listing, or select all invoices by clicking the box in the top right hand corner of the table.

  • Step 2: Click BATCH ACTIONS at the top of the table to open the Batch Actions lightbox.

  • Step 3: Click on the action in the lightbox and then click confirm to perform the action, or close the lightbox without performing an action by clicking anywhere in the page.

To perform actions on individual invoices, follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Click on the three purple dots in the Invoices table row to open the More Options lightbox.

  • Step 2: Click on the action in the lightbox, which includes Resent, Mark as Paid, Duplicate Invoice, Delete Invoice.

  • Step 3: Click CONFIRM to perform the action, or click CANCEL to return to the previous page.

You can customize your view using the options found at the top of the table. View the Table Search and Sort Instructions for instructions on customizing, sorting, or searching tables.
