Understanding Divisions

A Division is a representation of a Referrer’s portfolio contained within a Payrix Partition or the Partition of another Facilitator-level entity. Like Partitions, Divisions can house all Merchant & User data, Host settings, and Workflows within and can be modified on an individual basis without affecting other Divisions or Merchants under a Partition.

Divisions are used by the platform to create structured distinctions between various payment service referral businesses located within a Partition.

Warning: Only Facilitators can create new Divisions within a Partition.

For Referrers becoming a Division of the Payrix Partition, a Division will automatically be created for you during the Implementation process.
For Referrers becoming a Division of another Facilitator’s Partition, a Division will be created for you during your onboarding process under the Facilitator.
