Single Sign-On (F)

The Single Sign-On page contains details about the single sign on feature of the Payrix platform. Single Sign-On (SSO) is an account security feature that grants users access to multiple sites on the platform while reducing the number of logins needed to authenticate the user. To use single sign-on, the referrer must set up a domain with a service provider such as OneLogin or Google. Use the Single Sign-On page to view or change information related to the single sign-on status, identity provider, or service provider.

Navigate to the Single Sign-On page by clicking Settings in the left hand navigation panel, and then clicking Single Sign-On in the Payment Settings section.

Single Sign-On Page Features

Single Sign-On Protocol Section

The top of the form is the Single Sign-On Protocol section, which contains the following information:

Description

Protocol Type

The protocol is the way in which a user logs in to a platform that facilitates single sign-on functionality. You can choose from the following protocol types:

  • SAML 2.0

  • OpenID Connect

Status

The status of the single sign-on protocol: Active or Inactive.

To change the protocol type or status, click the PENCIL icon in the top right hand corner of the form.

Note: The remainder of the Single Sign-On page will display information related to the Protocol Type selected.

SAML 2.0 Provider Sections

When the SAML 2.0 Protocol Type is selected, the page will display the SAML 2.0 Identity Provider and Service Provider information. You can edit any information in the Identity Provider fields by clicking the PENCIL icon in the top right hand corner of the page.

Entity ID

The entity login data.

SAML 2.0 Endpoint

The endpoint URL on the point of contact server.

Single Logout Service Endpoint

The identity provider's endpoint URL.

X.509 Certificate

A certificate that defines the format of public key certificates.

Entity ID

The URL for the service provider.

Single Logout URL

The URL that the sign-out response is sent to.

Consumer URL

The URL that directs the response after authenticating a login.

Name ID Format

The SAML 2.0-specific method of controlling how the user at an identity provider will be mapped to the user at the service provider during single sign-on.
